They are also used to hydrate skin and add a luminous quality. We use hyaluronic acid fillers which are not permanent. They are designed with differing lifting and filling properties which we select according to the areas you wish us to work on. A very popular treatment for our young clients is lip plumping: reflecting the current trend for full, voluptuous, dramatic lips.
For the older client, lip augmentation works very well at helping smooth peri-oral or smoker's lines. Subtle or full on glamour…..you get to choose! Dermal fillers are marvellous at re-shaping and contouring the face. They lift out the lines running from nose to mouth, and the folds from mouth corners to the chin, and give us back the cheeks of our youth, rather than jowls.
They can also be used very successfully to re-shape the jaw line, nose and temples, and work very well hand in glove, with wrinkle relaxing injections. Depending on the area filled, the treatment will last 6-18 months.
